One of the <\/span>Major League Baseball pitchers<\/span> is sharing his Christian faith in a truly unique way: through his baseball glove.<\/span><\/p>\n

Luke Weaver made his debut in the Major Leagues this season with the Arizona Diamondbacks before being traded for Emmanuel Rivera to the Kansas City Royals, and although he has had injuries that has not prevented him from having a great performance during the games being considered as \u201cthe one with the fast ball\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The fact of sharing his faith in a different way made him really special and unique, because his baseball glove was designed to look<\/span> like the binding of an old leather Bible. It features a cross, a crown of thorns, the phrase \u201cHis Glory,\u201d<\/em> and his favorite Bible verses. Aria calls it a \u201ctruly one-of-a-kind glove\u201d<\/em><\/span>;<\/em> and the company decided to sell more of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Weaver expressed that in the midst of this time and his passion for the sport, he wants to carry a message of hope through his glove, so that everyone knows how much faith helps him achieve success in baseball.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abIt\u2019s just a way where I want to be able to show the world that in the midst of that battle and the competition and the personality and expression, this is what I choose to do,\u00bb<\/strong><\/em><\/span> Weaver told Sports Spectrum.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abIn doing this, I hope more kids can wear a glove like I\u2019m wearing and to wear it in their travel ball and their Little Leagues and their high schools and their colleges, to one day just be like, \u2018Hey, I\u2019m using a glove that helps me play this game, but I\u2019m also expressing who I am, and I love every second of it.\u2019 If someone wants to ask about it, guess what: Now we get to talk about it,\u00bb<\/strong><\/em><\/span>\u00a0he added.<\/span><\/p>\n
