A pastor from the Atlanta<\/em> area in Georgia, USA,<\/em> survived a long fight against the Coronavirus and credits his recovery to his faith in God.<\/em><\/p>\n

The pastor said he is praying for those who have the virus, so that they will not lose their lives.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Pastor Robert Burt<\/em> has been grateful to be alive after defeating the deadly virus he fought against for several weeks.<\/p>\n

His wife, Joy,<\/em> revealed that sometimes the situation did not seem so compromising. \u201cI was so close to death, incredibly close to death,\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span> he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I refused to believe that because I know that my God is the supreme healer and that he was going to cure Robert,\u201d<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>he added.<\/p>\n

Burt, who runs Danielsville Baptist Church<\/em>, did not have health insurance, so he sought help from GoFundMe<\/em> to help pay his medical bills. So far, he has managed to raise $2,000.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod bless you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts,\u201d<\/span> <\/em><\/strong>the family said in appreciation of all those who prayed and donated.<\/p>\n

With only a 1% chance of survival<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the church that Burt<\/em> shepherds, no one was infected by the virus; and this was a great relief to him.<\/p>\n

On March 19, the preacher was rushed to the hospital. Surprisingly, he credits Jesus<\/em> for his recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do know that without Jesus Christ healing and touching my body and giving me what I needed that I wouldn\u2019t have survived,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> Burt<\/em> said.<\/p>\n

For some weeks, the pastor was confused and disoriented without realizing where he was or what was happening.<\/p>\n

One of the most incredible things about his case is that the doctors explained that he was in such a bad state that he was given only a 1% chance of survival.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to look at it as a very serious virus,\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span> Burt<\/em> said. \u201cI pray every day at this point that people who have this don\u2019t lose their lives\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n
