On Wednesday, a Brazilian judge ordered Netflix to stop showing a Christmas special that some called blasphemous.
The film disappointed too many people for presenting Jesus as a gay man.
The fury was so high that it prompted a gasoline bomb attack on the satirists behind the program.
Rio de Janeiro judge Benedicto Abicair gave the order in response to a petition of many people asking Netflix to remove the comedy film with a campaign, boycott of Netflix.
The Judge’s Words
Abicair said the program’s withdrawal “is beneficial not only to the Christian community, but to Brazilian society which is mostly Christian.
In response to the verdict, Netflix preferred to remain quiet by telling The Associated Press it would not comment on the ruling.
