“I am working from home, I’m self-isolating and that’s entirely the right thing to do. But, be in no doubt, that I can continue thanks to the wizardy of modern technology,” he added.

Besides, giving the announcement, Johnson took a time to thank the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) for all of their work during this outbreak.

“I want to thank everybody who’s working to keep our country going during this epidemic. And we will get through it, and the way we’re gonna get through it is, of course, by applying the measures you have heard so much about,” Johnson said, adding Stay at home, protect the NHS, and save lives.”

According to the Johns Hopkins online coronavirus tracker, so far, there are at least 11,816 confirmed cases of the virus in Britain, with 580 deaths.
