A new survey of U.S. college and high school students reveals that 39% are praying more often.
While 28% said they are also thinking about spiritual issues more often as a result of the pandemic.
The survey was conducted by the polling company Echelon Insights April 24-27 for Young America’s Foundation (YAF).
YAF is associated with The Federalist, which has shown that the Coronavirus has changed the daily lives of many students and teens.
The survey also shows that most students do not take the Covid-19 outbreak lightly.
Taking the pandemic “seriously”
About 80% said they are taking Covid-19 extremely or very seriously, and 69% responded that they were worried about getting the virus.
According to The Federalist, the survey results were based on a national survey of 1,600 current high school and college students between the ages of 13 and 22.
While it is true that the Coronavirus has caused visible and terrible consequences on the planet after its appearance, but it has also had, certain positive effects inregarding the population.
Certainly it is evident that many people are approaching and turning to God in these times of uncertainty, seeking faith and hope, even in the young inhabitants.
