A religious sect in Panama tortured, killed and burned a pregnant woman and 6 children in a pit, as part of a “ritual slaughter.”
Bocas del Toro was the place where, by bodies of the Public Prosecutor of Panama, they discovered the bodies of six children; including body remains of one year old babies, and also the body of a pregnant woman.
Due to reports of three people being admitted to the hospital after suffering burns and bumps during an “exorcism session,” the authorities showed up at the scene.
15 kidnapped people
15 people were kidnapped by people who “were dedicated to mistreating and committing criminal acts against the community”, until the police raided the place and were rescued.
Rafael Baloyes; Prosecutor of the case, said that this group of indigenous people performed rites in which “those who participated should repent of their sins”, and those who didn’t do so, were killed.

The victims and those who led the rites, belonged to the same indigenous community. One of the members of the sect was a grandfather of the deceased children, the prosecutor said in his statements.
Baloyes also reported that the detainees will be framed this weekend.
