Lamar Jackson is the NFL quarterback. During a press conference this week, the Ravens player said The Lord is the one who helps him stay humble.

During the interview, WJZ’s Sports Director Mark Viviano asked Jackson what keeps him humble and he said “The Lord”.

“Is there something or someone that keeps you humble?” Viviano asked.

“The Lord, The Lord.”Jackson said.

“I give him all his praise, the glory, the honor,” he added. “Because you know without him, I could have been doing anything you know.”

“It’s crazy. I be thinking about it. Talking to him through the day,” Jackson said. “I appreciate you. Thank you.”

“Because when you feel like you’re bigger than the Lord that’s when all that success dies. It go away,” he said. “You know you gotta let him know that he the reason you’re having that much [success]”

Besides, Baltimore quarterback said his family, teammates, and coaches are also an important part in his success.

However, he made clear that he has to let the Lord know how important he is in his life.

“We just gotta keep going, and let the Lord know, he’s the no. 1,” Jackson ended.
