It seems that those experiences gave Lois an idea of what she would see when she went to the presence of the Lord.

Priscilla Shirer is the daughter of Tony and Lois Evans. Last December, she faced the death of her mother, who died from a rare type of cancer she was struggling with.

«Flashes of Heaven»

Pastor Tony told during service in his church that his wife had some “glimpses” of what he would find in heaven, because for two days he began to experience visions and supernatural experiences that would reveal her to God.

At some point during their farewell moments, he says she began to speak about seeing “something outside earth’s realm”.

It seems she was catching a glimpse of family members in heaven, perhaps like the “cloud of witnesses” described in Hebrews 12:1.

“One of the things that I’ve observed in life and in scripture is that when people walk with God and He doesn’t take them suddenly, He will give them a glimpse of heaven while they’re still transitioning from earth. He will let them know, not only that it’s time, but it’s okay.” The Pastor Evans said.

«There is my father»

Months before her passing, Lois’ doctors said she was having a great recovery in his fight against cancer. They were giving all credits to faith and hope in God.

That enthusiasm touched the doctors’ lives, too. However, they could not change the reality that She would die in a short time.

In her last days, she began to have some details of what she would find in heaven. Her family witnessed how she was already recognizing something was beyond earth.

“Simultaneous to the time of her departure were things taking place that were letting us know she was dealing with something outside of the earth’s realm,” the Pastor said.

“For example, she said to some who were gathered in the room, ‘Do you see my mother? Do you see her? She’s right over there by the fireplace.’ Do you see her? Why can’t you see her? On another occasion, she said, ‘My father. There’s my father.’ And there was no one in the room physically. She was seeing something as the time of her departure got closer.”

She also received a spiritual message that revealed the exact time she would go with the Lord, “Two days, two days, take me up,” she said, and her husband compared this experience with Stephen‘s when he saw God. Before he died stoned.

“When the time of your departure comes, you want to be close enough to God that you can hear things that other folk can’t hear and see things that other folk can’t hear,” Evans said.
