Mike Pence calls Americans to pray for “God’s grace” amidst a surge in Covid-19 cases

In the midst of the current situation experienced because of the Coronavirus, the Vice President of the United States recently urged everyone to pray “for one another”, asking for God’s grace “every day”.

The Vice President of the United States gave the statements through a briefing.

After almost two months, the White House Covid-19 working group held its first briefing.

According to CBN News, an increase in cases of infection was reported, and young people were asked to do their part to prevent further contagion.

This includes wearing protective masks and respecting social distancing measures.

Surprisingly, at least 50% of the new cases reported are young people. So their care is key to protecting the elderly.

“We need to protect the most vulnerable…we want a message going out…we need them to do their part,” Vice President Pence said. “It’s in the hands of the American people, particularly young people in this country.”

He also noted that the country is willing to help any of its states by providing medical supplies whenever necessary.

But without a doubt, one of the most striking aspects of the session was the politician’s call to prayer for Americans.

Pence said, “I just encourage every American to continue to pray. Pray for all the families that have lost loved ones, pray for our health care workers on the front lines…pray that by God’s grace, every single day, will each of us do our part to heal our land.”
