Dominican Republic is now giving a new and important step in the educational system due to its Chamber of Deputies has approved a resolution that asks for the fulfillment of the law under the number 44-00, which establishes teaching and reading of the Bible in private and public schools of the country, according to the informed by El Nuevo Diario.

The deputy Betzaida González is one of those in charge of promoting this project.  Through her social accounts, she stated “Christian teaching of boys, girls, and teens is good for them to be able to discern criteria and will  that stop models of behavior that take to perversion, disobedience, violence, disorder , among others”.

“Times and the same facts that happen inside public schools of Dominican Republic, where there is evidence of delinquency behaviors, where professor have no respects and are vulnerable, there is a need for Bible teaching, as it is established in the form 44-00” she added through a post.

Besides that, the deputy reflects in the form that the Dominican educational system is based on Christian principles and it is evident for the “Gospel book” that appears on the National Emblem and the slogan “God, Country and Liberty”.
