Over the next 3 to 5 years, the Holy Land awaits the arrival of 250,000 fellow citizens who have lived abroad but are of Israeli origin.

Knesset committee chairman David Bittan details that there must be the best relationship with Jewish immigrants and ensure their necessary assistance to small communities, especially in the fields of education, community activities and security.

Herzog foresees that most of the “Olympians” are young, self-employed and professional people. In the last 70 years, 4 million Jews have returned from 45 different countries.

“This is a historic challenge that must be explored, and the government must understand the importance of the hour and prepare a national plan to absorb this wave,” he told the Committee.

The figures that report most travel come from the United States, France and Latin America with the help of the agency Nefesh B’Nefesh.
