A special meeting took place at the White House. Conservative pastors and important religious leaders gathered to pray for the life of Donald Trump.

Judd Deere, White House Deputy Press Secretary confirmed through a statement that Trump met them on Tuesday morning.

“President Donald J. Trump met with faith leaders this morning in the Roosevelt Room at the White House. They took the time to pray for the president and for the Nation,” Deere said.

Talking about the Administration’s many accomplishments towards Americans from different communities was one of the topics of the meeting.

It is good to mention that personalities like Paula White Cain; Dr. James Dobson; Free Chapel Senior Pastor Jentezen Franklin among others attended the meeting.

It was kind of an informal meeting but it was closed to news media. However, attendees revealed some of the details. They shared their experiences.

Sharing her point of view, Johnnie Moore, a human rights activist who serves as an adviser in the Trump administration, said they had a “great morning” with a “confident and spirited” president.

Trump: upbeat, positive, and focused

First Baptist Dallas Senior Pastor Robert Jeffress expressed the following:

“I’ve never seen President Trump more upbeat, positive, and focused than I did in Tuesday’s meeting,” Jeffress told CBN.

“At the end of the meeting, several asked if they could pray for the president and he graciously welcomed the offer, as he always does.”
