Chinese government authorities started the war to faith as they tore down megachurch while the congregation was worshipping.
The attack occurred in the Funan, Anhui region where authorities besides the demolition arrested and detained the church’s pastors.
According to the international non-profit Christian human rights organization China Aid, the incident happened over the weekend.
Chinese government officials did not show any documents ordering the 3,000-seat church building’s demolition.
And not finding any valid proof to arrest the pastors Geng Yimin and Sun Yongyao, they detained them on the charge of supposedly “gathering a crowd to disturb social order.”
“This is yet another clear example showing the escalation of religious persecution today by the Chinese Communist regime.”
This is what ChinaAid President Bob Fu said about the situation in the country.
