Benny Hinn, the controversial televangelist has changed his mind. During a Facebook Live Broadcast on Monday night, he declared “The Gospel is not for sale”.

Hinn, during his Christian career, has been a defender of the prosperity gospel.

This teaching affirms that believers have a right to the blessings of health and wealth, and they can obtain these blessings through positive confessions of faith and the “sowing of seeds.”

However, Hinn, for the first time in his career, expressed rejection of this practice declaring that the “Holy Ghost is just fed up with it.”

Hinn, at some point in his declarations, gave some advice to people saying, “If you are not giving because you love Jesus, don’t bother giving.”

“The more you know the Bible the more you become biblically based and more balanced in your opinions and your thoughts, because we are influenced,” Hinn continued.

“When I was younger, I was influenced by the preachers who taught whatever they taught. But as I’ve lived longer I’m thinking, wait a minute, you know this doesn’t fit totally with the Bible and it doesn’t fit with the reality. So what is prosperity? No lack. I’ve said this before,” Hinn said.
