Almost 1,000 people baptized in California beach because of “spiritual revival”

A California congregation is rejoicing in the record number of baptisms performed on September 12.

The number of participants was three times higher than usual.

Calvary Chapel Church in Chino Hills held a series of outdoor baptisms in Newport Beach, where nearly 1,000 people were born again.

Gina Gleason, director of the church, told CBN News,  “California may be experiencing a spiritual revival.”

She explains that normally, the number of people who are baptized is 300; but this Saturday they attended three times more than that. “It’s remarkable and a significant number,” she added.

The area where the large crowd gathered is known as Pirate’s Cove, and it reflected the joy of children and adults who found God’s love and goodness.

This summer, Southern California has experienced a powerful move of God, where many come together to pray, worship and be saved.

Previously, there have been reports about Saturate OC, a movement that has been taking place in American constellations since early July, bringing hope and peace to many.
