The Actor of ‘God is Not Dead’ gets expelled from an event for being Christian and conservative

The Christian and conservative actor Kevin Sorbo was expelled from a Comic Con due to his religious inclinations. The Daily caller reports that the founder and promoter of the East Coast Comic Con, Cliff Galbraith, announced that the actor won’t be invited to the Convention. Galbraith explained his reasoning for not inviting Sorbo.

‘I have rejected Kevin Sorbo’s participation in the East Coast Comic Con. He’s a friend of Sean Hannity, I just can’t do it,’  he’s published. Sean Patrick Hannity is a television presenter, Radioist, writer and conservative commentator of the United States. He presents the radio program ‘The Sean Hannity Show’ by the stations Cumulus Media networks and Premiere radio networks.

Some who saw the post of Galbraith and who also have liberal tendencies asked him to forbid other actors, such as Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson, James Wood, Jon Voight and Chuck Norris, who are known for conservative views.

Another group, however, criticized Galbraith’s decision. Sorbo himself previously recognized that there is a clear trend toward conservative Christians in Hollywood: ‘There is a negativity towards Christians in Hollywood, and a negativity towards people who believe in God,’ he said in 2013.

Sorbo would have been a candidate for East Coast Comic Con due to its role as Hercules in the series ‘Hercules: The Legendary Day’, produced between 1995 and 1999, and based on the feats of the Greek mythology semi-god.

Lately Sorbo has starred several Christian movies as Soul Surfer and perhaps the best known ‘God Is Not dead’.
