7-year-old boy prays for 64 Oklahoma police officers

A photo of a 7-year-old boy praying for a policeman in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is going viral after his mother shared it on Facebook earlier this week.

The photo shows Trey Elliott putting his hand on an officer’s shoulder to show his love and support.

According to the Facebook post, Brittany Elliott said her son, Trey, asked to pray for Tulsa Police Department officials in the midst of the recent protests.

Trey has been able to pray for 64 officers so far.

On Thursday, Trey had the opportunity to pray with Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin.

According to Fox 23, Trey’s mother, and her husband, Billy, had been talking to her son about the protests in Tulsa and the protests around the country when he got the idea to pray for the officers.

Pictures taken by Brittany on June 3 show Trey praying with more officials, who visited her home especially to pray with the boy.

Trey and his mother will hold a community prayer outside the Tulsa County Courthouse on Friday at 7 p.m.
