After a huge wave of protests against the lockdown measures, 48 states in U.S. are reopening for business.
It means that in those states people are getting the freedom to go back to work, despite the risks.
With this lifting of restrictions, some american citizens feel very excited affirming that the decision of staying at home or not depends on people.
“We should be able to decide if we want to go out or not,”said resident Deborah Glembocki, who is happy about the change.
In the same way, Chad Arndt, a business owner said: “If they don’t feel it’s good to come out yet – more power to them – but I hope they respect my feelings. I would like to come out and start getting the economy going again.”
Tony Schmidt from 21st Street Seafood said, “The employees I’ve brought back in are extremely excited to come back to work and make some money and see their customers.”
Many people in the state of Wisconsin felt relieved due to restaurants and bars began hopping just hours after the state Supreme Court struck down the governor’s stay at home order, effectively re-opening the state.
